Wrinkle Relaxers
Neuromodulators, more commonly known as wrinkle relaxers, play an important role in softening fine lines and wrinkles by temporarily relaxing muscles underneath the skin. They are particularly effective for dynamic wrinkles caused by facial expressions, such as frown lines, forehead creases, and crow’s feet. Botox®, the most well-known brand, has paved the way for others in the market, each offering distinctive benefits.
- Botox®: The most popular cosmetic treatment in the U.S., Botox® is used by millions of people to smooth lines in the upper one-third of the face. Botox® is also approved to treat medical conditions like chronic migraines and is particularly effective in treating hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
- Dysport®: Dysport® is primarily used to correct frown lines and is a good option for patients looking to target severe lines in that area. While Dysport® and Botox® are used for similar purposes, Dysport®’s formulation is more diluted and can spread faster, often producing results quicker than Botox®. Dysport® may also spread more widely compared to Botox®, enabling the treatment of larger areas with fewer injections.
- Jeuveau®: A newcomer to the wrinkle relaxer market, Jeuveau® was developed exclusively for cosmetic purposes and designed to treat lines between the eyebrows. Dermal Fillers

Available in various formulas to suit different facial areas, Juvéderm®’s effects can last one to two years, depending on the chosen product. Full results are seen immediately. Juvéderm® Ultra XC – Smooths wrinkles and lines
Juvéderm® Ultra Plus – A thicker dermal filler used to correct more severe facial wrinkles, deep nasolabial folds, marionette lines and fill in depressed areas in the cheeks

Juvéderm® Vollure XC – Gently treats moderate to severe wrinkles and folds - Restylane®: Restylane®, with its slightly thicker consistency compared to Juvéderm®, is commonly preferred for addressing deeper wrinkles and mid-face volume loss, such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines. Results are typically noticeable right after treatment, though the full effects of Restylane® filler may take a few days to become fully visible. Fat Dissolvers
- Kybella®: Kybella® is the only FDA-approved injectable for diminishing a double chin. The treatment harnesses the power of deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring fat-burning compound found in your digestive tract. After being injected into the targeted area, Kybella® gradually destroys fat cells, leading to a more defined jawline. The process typically involves two to three sessions, with each appointment lasting about 30 minutes. Results are permanent in the specific treatment area.
