Rosacea

Rosacea is one of the most common skin conditions. It has symptoms that include flushing or blushing more easily. This skin condition is divided into different types.

Papulopustular rosacea

This form of rosacea involves tiny blemishes or red bumps, typically on the cheeks, chin, and forehead. This form of rosacea may have been misdiagnosed as acne, but it is a separate condition and can be treated.

Phymatous rosacea

This form of rosacea eventually leads to thickened, scarred skin that appears bumpy or discolored, often on the nose, most commonly occurring in men.

Erythematotelangiectatic rosacea

That very long word refers to a type of rosacea that results in persistent facial redness. It often includes visible blood vessels that have enlarged with each flare-up, with the redness spreading to larger facial areas.

Facial vein treatments

Light energy--like magic on your skin

Visible facial veins are virtually impossible to hide. These tiny veins often appear around the nose, eyes, or other facial areas. For smooth, flawless skin, removing facial veins could be at the top of your wish list, and at Elevé MedSpa, we are here to help you live a happier, more confident life. Removing visible spider veins is an easy process with the Sciton HALO system, which will collapse the vein, so the blood is rerouted to deeper vessels.

HALO and BBL

Non-ablative HALO treatments can be performed to resolve rosacea or reddened skin or remove visible facial spider veins. This treatment is comfortable, fast, and effective, requiring about one hour to complete. Your skin is first numbed with a topical cream. Once numbed, the handheld device is applied to the reddened area or veins. All you will feel is a slight tingling sensation or warmth.

BBL, or “broadband light,” can effectively treat rosacea and reddened skin. The light energy is applied to the skin, entering deeper layers, stimulating natural cell turnover and new skin cell production to restore skin tone and overall quality. A series of treatments may be needed to resolve rosacea, and yearly follow-up treatments to keep the skin looking fresh and flawless.
